Caear III non si avvia

Salve, poco fa ho reinstallato Caesar III desideroso di rigiocarci ma purtroppo non si avvia, doppio clic sull'icona ma non succede niente, solo per un brevissimo istante compare compare il cursore di caricamento ma a parte ciò niente di niente.
Ho provato di tutto, avviarlo come amministratore, compatibilità varie sia dell'exe del gioco che di quello all'installazione, a cambiare directory, ecc... ma non si avvia.
La stessa cosa mi succede con Faraon.

Il mio pc è con Windows 7 64 bit Ultimate N

Poco fa ho provato ad installaro su un altro pc (un portatile catorcio che ha un sacco di problemi), anch'esso con Windows 7, e si avvia perfettamente...
